Getting Here

The Hungry Cyclist Lodge is situated in the heart of the Burgundy Wine region. Hidden in the Premier Cru Wine making village of Auxey-Duresses it lies just off the prestigious Route de Grand Cru. Whether by car, train , aeroplane or bicycle, getting here could not be easier. By Train

With direct links to TGV links Lyon, Dijon and Paris (Gare de Lyon & Bercy) getting to Burgundy by train is both civilised and uncomplicated.

  • Gare de Lyon/Bercy - Beaune (2 hours)

  • Lyon Part-Dieu - Beaune (1 hour 45 min).

Arrive in Burgundy at Beaune station and either jump in a taxi (30 euros) to Auxey-Duresses. 

By Car

Just ten kilometres from the Beaune exit (24.1) of the A6 auto route, driving to The Hungry Cyclist Lodge could not be easier.

After leaving the autoroute, follow the D973 through Pommard, Volnay and the Route de Grand Cru leads you to Auxey-Duresses. Continue through the village and take the first left after leaving the village. Turn right on Rue Du Moulin and The Hungry Cyclist Lodge is the first house on the right.
